Books I've Read in 2011

This idea came from a blog called Nesting Place. The Nester posted a linky for this.

These are the books I read in 2011. The list is in no particular order. I did not include books that I've read to my class.

I Was Told There'd Be Cake

The House at Riverton

French Lessons a novel

Skinny Dip

Clara and Mr. Tiffany

The Secret Diaries of Charlotte Bronte

The Hunger Games

The Forgotten Garden

An Object of Beauty a Novel

Just Kids

The Distant Hours

Winter Garden

The Help

The Girl Who Chased the Moon

The Sugar Queen

The Book Whisperer

  1. Hello. I am a new blogger also. You and I have read some of the same books. I enjoyed Skinny Dip, House at Riverton, Forgotten Garden, Hunger Games Trilogy, Girl Who Chased the Moon, and The Help. Enjoy reading into the new year.

  2. I see we like some of the same books. Yes I did read The Forgotten Garden. Loved it!

  3. Sounds like a good list! I haven't read them, but I'm barely getting back into the habit of reading and making a list for the new year is so helpful for me!

  4. I found I was having a difficult time finding time to read for fun. I'm an English teacher and read for school, which takes a ton of my time. I joined a book club with several of my friends a couple of years ago, and it's been wonderful. We read a book a month, and we rotate who chooses the book and hosts the club. I've read books that I never would have read if not for the girls in my club.
